The meaning behind the piece, from the artist (me):
This piece symbolizes the great range of emotions a memory can hold, and the power it can have. I made this one with trauma specifically in mind; memories being sealed away and forgotten, and being remembered only when it is safe to do so. It can feel like you are being wrapped in a thick fog, unable to know what is present reality and what is not. It can be comforting and painful, or horrific and beautiful at the same time.
There is not only one correct path to healing; but feeling is a brick in every one of the roads.
